Grab a kayak from the rack and explore the immediate coastline of Koh Yao Noi – the beaches and little bays that are right near the resort; or join one of Paradise KohYao‘s kayaking excursions that will take you through the spectacular environment of Phang Nga bay, and are designed to bring our guests closer to nature and away from main-stream tourist spots.
Phang Nga bay is known for its spectacular rock formations, stunning natural beauty and unspoiled beaches. An especially unique highlight of the Phang Nga Bay area are the “Hongs” (like a chimney, means literally “room” in Thai) with caves at the base. The interiors can be explored, depending on the tides, best by kayak.
Phang Nga Bay Kayak Trip

Take a trip through the beautiful Phang Nga Bay & explore all it’s natural wonders by kayak. You will be guided through the many sea caves that the bay has to offer, past spectacular rock formations, and on to explore quiet hidden lagoons where you often spot monkeys and other wildlife.
Along the way we stop at one of the amazing beaches to relax, swim, and enjoy lunch.
Before or after you have seen the caves and lagoons, depending on tides, you will also be taken sightseeing by long-tail boat around the world famous James Bond Island.
Talen Bay (Tha Lane) Kayak Trip
Take a short trip across the bay to Krabi by long-tail boat, where you will be dropped off with your guide to explore sights and sounds of Talen Bay and the magnificent limestone cliffs the area has to offer. You will be guided through the ever-changing mangrove forest where you are sure to encounter local monkeys and birdlife, up-close and personal.
Stopping for lunch along the way, is always interesting with all the hungry monkeys keeping a close eye on you.
After lunch we will continue through the cliffs and mangroves, until you meet up with the long-tail boat and head off to one of Phang Nga’s beautiful islands for swimming & snorkelling in the clear, turquoise water, before heading back to the resort

Learn how to prepare & cook your favourite Thai dishes with our fun & experienced chefs – Khun Tui & Khun Aeed. You will be guided through all the steps, & the chefs will explain the ingredients, & show you how to assemble everything to create the unique flavour of Thai cuisine.
The main village on Koh Yao Noi Island is 7km away. The trip is through the jungle – on a rough dirt road appropriate for an off-road vehicle. The journey takes about 2 hours depending on ability, and level of fitness. Paradise KohYao offers high quality mountain bikes for guests to take out and explore the adventurous ‘back road’ through the national reserve parklands and into the interior of the island of Koh Yao Noi.
Eco-bike Tour
Learn more about Koh Yao Noi and local Island life while participating our Guided Bike Tour. Guests will be taken by longtail boat to the nearest town of Tha Khao, where they can take a quick picture with the famous Hornbill Bird statues that greet all guests to the pier, before heading out on the local roads and back trails of the island. Enjoy cycling along in the shade of rubber plantations, beside traditional rice paddies, and through local villages – the best way to explore the wonderful nature of Koh Yao Noi.

Take a guided evening tour around Koh Yao Noi to explore the island & see the beautiful sunset. Experience local life on this unspoiled tropical island & enjoy a stunning view of the sunset at Sapan Yao Pier.
Stop at the local market for some local souvenir shopping, a taste of the local fruits, & to checkout the fishermen’s catch of the day.
These spectacular islands fringed with white sandy beaches & crystal clear water, lie just off the coast of Krabi.
Departing from Paradise Koh Yao‘s pier, your guide will take you from one island to the next, for swimming, snorkelling & simply relaxing, while gazing at the stunning scenery. We also provide you a picnic lunch that you can enjoy on the boat, or beach.
Hire a boat, rent a kayak, and take out some snorkelling equipment to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Andaman sea, alternatively join one of our day trips or excursions that includes snorkelling at one of the nearby beaches.
Paradise KohYao is surrounded by islands and all of the islands have wonderful secluded beaches. Everyday* a beach shuttle operates between the resort and nearby Koh Pak Bia, a great place for snorkelling and swimming. Highly recommended!
